Make sure to review our Application Guide to answer questions accurately. Print your confirmation page and attach it to your paperwork. You should receive an email with your Student ID within 5-7 business days from “noreply@email.laccd.edu”.

Please Note: If you are currently taking a class at Los Angeles Mission College or have registered for a college course within the past year, your application is still valid for the next term and you can skip this step.

Step 2  

Complete the (K-12) Dynamic form. You will need your LAMC and LAUSD Student ID number, parent/ guardian signature, student signature, and high school approval signature. This form is course specific.

College Applications

Cal State University

  • 2.5 GPA (2.0 for some schools, check impacted schools link here)
  • A-G courses completed with “C” or better
  • Essays and teacher recommendations required for EOP

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

US citizens & permanent residents should fill out this application. Students apply Senior year and every year after while in college.  The application opens October 1st and the priority deadline is March 2nd.

CA Dream Act Application (CADAA)

Undocumented students who qualify under AB540 should fill out this application. To qualify for AB540, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Attended a CA high school for at least three years or graduated early from a CA high school with the equivalent of three or more years of credit*, AND
  • Graduated from a CA high school, or pass the High School Equivalency Test ( HiSET), or obtained a Certificate of General Education Development (GED), AND
  • Enrolled in an accredited and qualifying CA college or university; AND
  • If applicable, complete(d) an affidavit to legalize immigration status as soon as you are eligible AND
  • Do not hold a valid non-immigrant visa (ABCDEFJHL, etc.)

The CSS Profile

WHAT is the CSS Profile?

  • The CSS Profile is an online application that collects information used by nearly 400 colleges and scholarship programs to award non-federal aid. (For federal aid you must complete the FAFSA, available Oct. 1 at fafsa.ed.gov.)
  • Some colleges may require the CSS Profile from both biological/adoptive parents in cases of divorce or separation.

WHEN do I complete the CSS Profile?

  • You may complete the CSS Profile as early as Oct. 1, 2020.
  • You should submit no later than two weeks before the EARLIEST priority filing date specified by your colleges.

WHO must complete the CSS Profile?

  • Check your colleges’ information to determine whether they require the CSS Profile.
  • A list of participating colleges is also found on the CSS Profile Homepage.

WHAT does the CSS Profile Cost?

  • The fee for the initial application is $25. Additional reports are $16. Payment may be made via credit or debit card.
  • First-time domestic college applicants may receive CSS Profile fee waivers if the student qualified for an SAT fee waiver, or if the student is an orphan or ward of the court under the age of 24 or based on parental income and family size (e.g. family of 4 would qualify with income of $45,000 or less).
