Introducing The New ArTES “Artist In Residence” – Muralist, Levi Ponce

ArTES is thrilled to announce collaboration with Urban Artist resident artist Levi Ponce. Beginning in January, Levi will be working with Mr. Green, Mr. Q, Ms. Ta, and Ms. Conant integrated core curriculum with visual art. Levi will be on campus two days a week and the students’ work will be featured the second week of March, so keep checking in right here to see updates on their work.

Levi is from Pacoima and received a BA in Art from CSUN. His work has been displayed in a variety of private galleries, at CSUN, and at the Los Angeles Craft and Folk Art Museum. He brings a knowledge of fine art as well as street art to ArTES, and has been working with the students of ArTES Alive on Armando and Selvin’s mural project and Jenevit’s Senior Art Project.
